That museum is awesome!! Why oh why don;t we have something that cool here? The science center seems rather bogus in comparison

David and I are sitting overlooking our little piece of paradise while watching your film about another piece of paradise, a whole day away. Kyoto is, as you describe, beautiful...thanks to your video. We've really enjoyed your posts especially your writing; another of your great talents.
As your adventure comes to a close, no doubt you're aware that our family, your family and good friends have enjoyed your vacation along with you, every step of the way. How cool is that to travel to the other side of the planet and take us all with you!

Yeah, they're made by Toyota. There's one that is supposed to have a fast mode that uses GPS or something to take you to where you want to go with no intervention.

There's even one with legs!

The Center for Emerging Science and Technology is definitely cool. There are two other floors I didn't have time to even get to... but that's Tokyo — everything is big.

Wow - those giant robotic wheelchairs (i-unit?) are the rickshaws of the future! I wonder how fast it could zip me down the 404 to Yonge & Eg.... Although, those non-human magnetic powered cars are pretty cool too... they make petrol, electric AND hydrogen cars look like dinosaurs!

That science centre place you went to was pretty damn cool. Don't think I could have done the ferris wheel though - it's a combination of my worst nightmares: stuck in a glass bubble/high above the ground/in a land where no one can understands me :)

So much fun watching you hunt down and find Punk in Tokyo!! Love the juxtaposition between the tranquil gardens, the busy streets and the punk concert! I'm keeping gramdma up to date on you events, she is going to be thrilled with the idea of you being taken to a punk concert with 'new friends'!! Enjoy some vegetarian sushi for me!

Hey Jim!

Mom sent me your URL, and I've caught up on your adventure - how exciting! I love seeing the blend between serene gardens with prehistoric lillies, giant koi fish and trees that cast unique shadows - to the bustle of people, shops, ad space and an array of architecture... all together on one small island!

Glad to see you're having fun! Those rickshaws look like a neat/fun way to get around - who wouldn't want to travel in a giant wheelchair??!

Can I download them and watch later?
The trip on the 'porcelin bus' taught all of us something from your unfortunate experience but at least you know what it tastes like for sure now :) take care, talk to you soon, love mom

I did ride that bus last night after getting home from Odaiba (which was a very enjoyable day).

The video will be coming after I get the one on Ueno park finished. :)
